Qualifications

• Minimum requirement of bachelor’s degree with a major/minor in physical education
• Possess a valid Michigan teaching certificate
• Ability to assess and document student progress
• Professional in personal conduct and actions
• Excellent communication skills
• Effective behavior management skills
• Be comfortable working with students in grades K-12

• Plan and teach lessons in Physical Education
• Create a positive classroom environment for all learners
• Assess student progress
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, parents and community
